In this episode, Duane jumps on a call with an old Army buddy, SFC Bryan Alexander. Duane and Bryan served together in RC East, Afghanistan, from '09-'10. In 2016, Duane and his family had some time meet up with Bryan and his, and a chance comment sparked an idea that led to the most-viewed blog post on the Head Space and Timing website.   Serving in Washington, D.C., Bryan had an occasion to wear his dress uniform to work one day, and civilians he worked with asked, "what do all those stripes mean." Bryan's explanation of them...and the statement that the "space between the stripes" is as important, if not more so, than the stripes themselves...was significantly impactful.
