(RECORDED SEPTEMBER 26, 2025) In this episode, longtime environmental educator, Al Faze, tells us why the leaves are changing colors and talks about why we are planting more trees in the Cuyahoga Valley National Park. We conclude with Faze telling us how to save time and money when your yard is full of leaves.

Al Faze is a member of Great Trail Council Scouting America, where he serves as the Chair of the Sustainability, Trails, and Conservation Committee (SCAT). Al is a retired Professor of Biology and Environmental Science and has over 40 years of teaching experience in the biological sciences. In addition to serving as a volunteer in the Scouting community, Al competes in bird dog competition with his team of red setters. He lives in Ashtabula County with his wife Deborah.
