12/19/2022 A Brooklyn Center liquor store employee gave the shoes off her feet and spoke with Freddie Bell.

La Teia Thomas, known as Ace, gave the shoes off her feet to a homeless man. She saw him attempting to make shoes out of boxes. The store is holding a city-wide drive, "Ace's Warmth," to collect clothing and winter gear for those needing a helping hand.
