Lorraine Radice, Ph.D. is an educator, author, speaker, and professional developer. Lorraine is an Assistant Superintendent for Curriculum and Instruction in a public school district in New York. Prior to her current role, she was a preK-12 Director of Literacy. She is also an Associate Assistant Professor at Hofstra University. She is a leader in supporting educators in creating literacy and learning cultures in schools as well as in designing curriculum and instruction that prioritizes authenticity and choice in literacy learning. Her work has appeared in publications such as Literacy Today by International Literacy Association, Educational Leadership by ASCD, Edutopia, NCTE Blog, ASCD Blog, and Solution Tree Blog.
