Episode 1. The Whatnauts present the Pilot's Club, a podcast all about the pilot episodes of television shows and the many reasons why they may or may not be worth a watch. Every month we pick a different pilot episode to watch and then discuss it here on our show. We release these episodes first and foremost to our Patreon supporters on our $3 tier and above. Then, two years later we release these episodes to a wider audience on a public feed. So if you wanna catch up on two years worth of episodes, Patreon is the place to do that.

That said, our first episode focused on Eureka, a 2006 Sci-fi drama that ran for five seasons. It follows Jack Carter, a Deputy United States Marshall, and his daughter as they stumble into the town of Eureka, where most residents are scientific geniuses and many strange experiments are being conducted all over tow. Jack ends up becoming the new sheriff of the town as the oddities of Eureka soon become a charming familiarity.

What is The Pilot's Club?

The Whatnauts present The Pilot's Club, a Patreon exclusive podcast all about the first episodes of television shows. Join Melissa and Kyle as they watch and discuss a variety of TV pilots that catch their interest for a number of reasons. Some of the pilots may not have made it to air, others may have been particularly expensive to make, maybe the series was changed drastically after filming, or even something else just as interesting.
