March 16: EZ Ops secures funds at first Alberta Cleantech Investment Summit

The latest headlines & happenings in Edmonton's tech community. This week: Four cleantech companies secured a total of $395,000 at the inaugural Alberta Cleantech Investment Summit on March 11 including Edmonton's EZ Ops Inc.; the National Angel Capital Organization (NACO) has launched the Pathways to Capital initiative in Alberta; U of A graduate student Delaney Lothian has created a game and app to help people learn the Cree language; G2V Optics has been named as a presenting company at the U.S. Department of Energy’s National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL) Industry Growth Forum; and vrCAVE is one of the recipients of the Edmonton Screen Industries Office grant funding.
