Bia Navarro, Brazilian-born musician/artist community leader

Tonight, on The Sages Among Us, host Kimberly Ewing chats with Brazilian-born Bia Navarro. She is a local musician & artist living in California for 14 years and known for her cultural, musical, and educational contributions. She is involved with NorCal Curumim (coo-hu-mean) which is Brazilian for native child, a local cultural foundation. She coordinates events celebrating Brazilian culture, music, and history and has worked as an events coordinator for Center for the Arts, Color Me Human, KVMR, and works with our youth.

What is The Sages Among Us?

Various hosts and guests take a look at people making a difference. It started out as an innovative book about leadership and civic engagement. Four years later, it’s successfully morphed into a weekly KVMR radio series about, you guessed it, leadership and civic engagement.
