Innocence Project London

In this episode, IPL Director Louise Hewitt is in conversation with four interns from University of North Carolina (UNC) at Chapel Hill. The long -standing partnership between the IPL and UNC Chapel Hill has meant that a number of interns have been able to undertake work for the IPL. This semester, Maggie McGinnis, Leihana Pratt, Tyler Kraus and CJ Poveromo have been working on a number of projects, one of which is a subsequent podcast episode when you will hear them interview Kim Johnson MP.

What is Innocence Project London?

The Innocence Project London (IPL) is a pro bono organisation where students work with lawyers and academics to deconstruct claims of innocence from convicted individuals who have exhausted the criminal appeals process, with the aim of submitting applications to the Criminal Cases Review Commission (CCRC) .
