Our lives leak. They won’t stay full. We try to fill them with some many things. But like a leaky water bottle not only do they not stay full, they also make a mess. In John 4 we discover that’s not a problem for Jesus. We see that what he wants is us —mess and all. He can heal the cracks and fill our lives with meaning and love and life that will never end.
