Cooking With Grief

Welcome to 2021, or as we discover this week - perhaps it's actually 1724! We also learn about a real life attempt at Jurassic Park, the murky reasons
Victorian women could be committed to insane asylums, and hear tales of the Falklands War's biggest madlad.

Show Notes

Cooking With Grief is the comedy podcast that covers everything from history to science, pop culture to geography, and everything in between. Each week the two hosts each bring two topics they want to share with the other, in an internet show and tell. In Episode 52 we learn about game changing intact dinosaur DNA discovered in China, the bizarre and frankly harsh reasons women could be committed to insane asylums in Victorian-era Ireland, hear tales of a man whose outsized involvement in the Falklands War involved a priest a motorbike and a toilet, and we learn about the conspiracy theory that says that 297 years of early medieval history was all entirely fabricated and all our calendars are lies.

What is Cooking With Grief?

Cooking With Grief is a podcast where two glorious morons share facts, stories and titbits they've found interesting, an internet Show & Tell. Topics range from science to history to current events, and pretty much anything else, all discussed and dissected with complete irreverence and absolutely no desire to be serious. The facts are sound, the understanding is tenuous, and the jokes - well, that's subjective. Enjoy!

"A witty and unique podcast on current events and the world around us."
- Chris & Chris

"This is completely banal and you're wasting your time."
- Our mothers

"Who the hell are you and why are you talking to me?"
- Random guy on the street
