In this session we are joined by Stephen Brady, the author of Under the Lid - the Art and Craft of the Concert Piano Technician. He has been in the piano business for close to five decades and in this session he delivers many gems of wisdom he has acquired over the years.
First he talks about training–the process of acquiring the crucial skill a piano solopreneur needs. Steve hoes on to talk about taking classes, building a reliable network, research and reading. These are some of the key ingredients in the lifestyle of high-end piano tech.
Our co-host David Andersen introduces the mindset of the piano masters. He says, “If you can make a radical change in the sound of a piano in a relatively short amount of time - you win”. Stephan talks about this topic as well, breaks it down, and specifies how he has applied this in his life.
If you are looking to get deep insights into the essentials of building a business in the piano industry - this class is for you.
