The Honduran White Bat was first discovered in 1892, did you know that Rosco – of course you did, you and Curly, right Curley. The Honduran White Bat is found in Honduras, Nicaragua, Costa Rica and western Panama Despite being a conspicuously colored bat, over sixty years passed between the discovery of the first Honduran white bat in 1898 and the next discovery in 1963. Likely lost to the world because of increasing human push into the jungles and habitat loss. Ah the little guys, need a Yellowstone protector.
