What do you thirst for? A romantic relationship? A perfect marriage or spouse to make you happy? The picture-perfect family? It's easy to assume that what makes us happy is God's will for our lives. However, when we closely examine the word of God, we find that His will for our lives is not the fleeting feeling of happiness which is based on our circumstances, but JOY which is a lasting state of being that is characterized by contentment and satisfaction in Him. In today's message, Dr. Edwards reminds both singles and married couples that marriage is not a source of validation and it cannot heal the places in our hearts that are broken. Join us as we are both encouraged and challenged to truly submit our longings and deepest desires to the Lord, trusting that He knows what's best for us.
