We have a BIG podcast for all of you today. We have the two faces of the non-profit organization, Mental Health Declassified, an organization that brings awareness to the fight against Mental Illness and breaking the stigma of Mental Health Awareness. We have Leonor Ayala-Sanchez and Brandon Teixeria on the show!

Leonor, Brandon, and I not only discuss Mental Health awareness, Generation Stigma towards Mental Health, how these two came together to start this non-profit, how to help your loved ones who are going through a rough time, etc. But what also brings us here together is to bring awareness to Suicide Prevention.

September is National Suicide Prevention Month. This upcoming week is Suicide Prevention Week for Mental Health Declassified. MHD is doing events all this week to raise money for Suicide Prevention. And they are also on the show to discuss their reasoning to raise money for such an important cause.

The big event they are promoting is a 50/50 raffle which will take place this Thursday, September 30th on their Instagram live at 7pm. (@MentalHealthDeclassified). 50% of the proceeds will be going to the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention.
