Moving Markets

The ongoing tariff saga continues to dominate financial markets, as President Trump’s trade policies spark uncertainty and volatility. While Mexico and Canada have temporarily avoided tariffs through an agreement with the US, China has been hit with 10% tariffs, prompting retaliatory measures including its own tariffs, export controls on critical minerals and an antitrust investigation into Google. Meanwhile, in separate news, Trump has signed an executive order paving the way for the creation of a potential sovereign wealth fund that could acquire TikTok. In this episode, we’re also joined by Manuel Villegas from Next Generation Research to discuss the latest news from the world of crypto.
