I'm gonna talk about it on this episode, and it's all gonna tie together and make a lot of sense because YouTube is becoming very important to my clients more than they it's ever been before, and the way they're using it is much different than before."

Now they're doing longer format. They are looking to do longer format, a lot of them, because they want to start having their content showing up in answer engine optimization. But I do have to circle back because before I get deep into this, it's all gonna make sense and it's all related. But I wanna make sure to mention that this week, we launched the Mothership Studio app."

So if somebody was a membership of the Muthership Studio and another Mighty Network community, they would be able to see all of their their memberships in there. So for my members, it is the same. Once they log in, they're gonna see the same things inside. It's been slightly rebranded, new thumbnails, new look, new vibe. You know, if we fix the front door, we're gonna do some painting on the inside too."

But for new members now, instead of joining on the website and then having to go download the Mighty app and then log in, and now they're getting Mighty notifications, now they just have to go download the Muthership app, and everything is gonna be Muthership seamless branded. We have the weekly meetings, live meetings every week that are always on Mondays, and they are q and a's and also lessons. We've got the studio tutorials that are always in there for my members, the weekly trends, the the daily news feed, the chat, all of the things are still in there and a big part of the learning. And and the purpose of it is to help creators grow, learn, level up so that they can achieve their goals, whatever that is."

But why I'm talking about it on this YouTube podcast is because now when I talk about this in a longer format episode, the things that are being picked up by the World Wide Web, the Internet by AI, are the answers that my platform is gonna provide to creators. So those answers could potentially be received. And instead of search engine optimization so that I show up in a search, I'm gonna show up now, hopefully, with an answer for the question the person is asking. Search engine optimization helps you show up in a search."

You are gonna now be quoted from AI and you will actually be you know when AI does a thing and it gives you information and it cites where it got the information from. So if you haven't noticed it in your AI research, if you do some research on a topic for AI, when it does the homework, it cites the places. It's where it gets the answers from."

So because I've spent the time on this episode to talk about what the studio does, who it's helping, what creators can use it for, how it works, what it provides, hopefully, well, hope is that my content would now show up as an answer for somebody that's searching potentially, how can I get better at social media? Where can I learn how to make better content?"

And that's how even when I do the tutorials for the different effects, I really take the time to learn it, understand why is that layer that one on the bottom and why is that layer on top and how come when you cut out the green screen, the thing shows through. I have to fully understand it almost visually so that I can teach it. And because of that, when I get into a new concept like this, I'm digging and I'm trying to understand and I'm trying to relate it to something that I already know so that I can fully fully explain it. So I think that I think that hopefully this gets gets it to you."

      "body": "And there's other pieces to this now which I'm gonna hope to have a YouTube expert coming on in the podcast soon. I've reached out to a couple, and I'm gonna see if I can get somebody locked in. Because I would like someone that knows even more than me, because I can do all the homework and I can do the reading, but somebody who's got the experience, who's done it before, who's been in the growth of YouTube. And I I wanna get a little bit deeper into that, so hopefully I'm gonna be able to get somebody somebody in here to really give all of us the guidance. But some of the things that I always mention when I'm talking about if you're gonna be a good YouTube creator and what kinds of things you have to really pay attention to and why the thumbnails are important."

      "endTime": "472.405",

So all of those YouTube back end things that, you know, when you're posting a YouTube video, and I'm guilty of it. I'm like click, click, click, click. I don't sometimes even read through and make good choices because I'm going so fast. But when you're posting a YouTube video, it gives you the tags, the all these options that you can click on and off."

      "speaker": "Helen",
      "startTime": "472.965",
      "endTime": "493.39",
      "body": "And there's so much that you can do to optimize your YouTube videos. So that's just gonna be more and more important, and it's gonna be something I'm paying attention to more. And I think that if you're really serious about YouTube, you tackle one thing at a time. Like say, okay, most important right now, I'm not gonna I can't get into chapters yet. I'm too overwhelmed."
    },
    {
      "speaker": "Helen",
      "startTime": "493.39",
      "endTime": "521.82",
      "body": "I'm gonna post my video, make sure I have the right tag words, make sure that my content is gonna be transcribed, and that and it contains all the information. In the longer format, this is really helpful. That's why speaking about something at length and giving more context helps you getting for for that AEO. But anyway, the point is if you're new and you're just starting, it can be overwhelming. So I always say just take one or two things and focus on that first, and then you can always fix the next things."
    },
    {
      "speaker": "Helen",
      "startTime": "521.98",
      "endTime": "546.47",
      "body": "So you we always know thumbnails are really important for when people are scourging through your videos, and I'm so lax on that. I try really hard to pay attention to it. But because I'm not graphics first, I'm video first. To me, then the thumbnails become the last thing. So do your best to pick the two things you're gonna focus on, whether that's making sure the titling, the transcript, and the and the captions are your priority first."
    },
    {
      "speaker": "Helen",
      "startTime": "546.79",
      "endTime": "566.84",
      "body": "And then next week, you add the next thing. And you say, okay. Now let me figure out what these chapters are gonna do for me. You know, now I'm gonna figure out what are what are these extra tags gonna do for me, and what kind of research am I gonna do on that. So taking the time to do it, almost parsing it week to week so that you don't freaking get overwhelmed like I tend to."

I am gonna put make a LinkedIn post dedicated to this specifically because I initially, when we launched the app, I was really pumped like, yay."

I was like dancing around the room about it. But guess what? Reality check for the Muthership. You'll that's why you'll see there there's some apps you have to go first to join and then download the app. If you think about it, it works that way with a lot of things, but not the apps where and I'm used to downloading the Duolingo app, I log in and I join right there."
