He received a Business Administration Degree in Accounting from the University of Mary Hardin Baylor. He is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) with the Texas State Board of Public Accountancy. He is also a Certified Management Accountant (CMA) and Certified Financial Manager (CFM).
