Show Notes
If you are just a starter in the real estate industry and you have been thinking a lot about the things you should consider, the things you should do, and the things you must avoid, then we are the right people that you should talk to!
I've been through it. We've built 13 YouTube channels across the country and we are willing to share with you our experiences throughout the process. My partner, Jackson Wilkey, and I started our path in this business in 2019 and we have never looked back.
Update on the book and monthly sub plan?
Please show me where to look to see the click-through rate. I see a few different spots and they have different amounts. You preach analytics so I just wanna make sure I'm where I'm supposed to be.
What do you think is the best time to post a video?
What kinds of specific videos are you doing on new construction? We've mainly been doing specific neighborhoods and it's great because we get a ton of traffic from locals who need to list.
Please go into more detail about how you are leveraging new construction with video. Are you doing video walk thoughts on inventory homes or model homes?
Having a hard time with map videos. Hard to come up with what to say since I don't know much about each area.
YouTube search or suggested best?
Entering the holidays, do you have a way of reviewing videos to double down on what's most popular? Last year I redid a ton of the pros and cons, cost of living, don't move here, etc videos in December.
What's browse? Are they browsing your channel?

The Channel Junkies Podcast is for real estate agents who are already on YouTube and want the channel to finally behave like a business, not a second job. Each week, we show you how to turn your “Living In [City]” channel into a predictable relocation lead machine that feeds your pipeline whether you’re filming or not.
Hosted by Jackson Wilkey and Jesse Dau, founders of Channel Junkies, you’ll get tactical breakdowns on video hooks and titles, first‑30‑seconds retention, thumbnails, upload cadence, and analytics that actually matter. We go deep on the back end too: speed‑to‑lead, follow‑up SOPs, show‑rate fixes, and simple systems so you stop dropping YouTube leads on the floor and start closing more buyers and sellers.
No fluff, no generic “social media tips.” Just real case studies, hot‑seat audits, and step‑by‑step playbooks from agents doing 6–7 figures in GCI from their channels. New episodes weekly.
