Women of Faith

This sermons gives numerous applications and lessons from the life of Sarah. In the process, it teaches us the Biblical principles for knowing how to apply biographies using Biblical doctrine and ethics. As 1 Corinthians 10 teaches us, we can learn from history by avoiding disastrous actions of Biblical characters and as Hebrews 11 teaches us, we can learn from history by imitating the faith of the saints of old and learn how to expect great things from God and attempt great things for Him. Sarah's life has both lessons.

What is Women of Faith?

Does Deborah set a precedent for female judges and magistrates? Was it wrong for Abigail to cross her husband and reprove David? Can a woman be the head of her own household? Is it bad for a wife to be more spiritually mature or gifted than her husband? Why did Luke specify that Martha owned her own house? With his trademark practicality + theological precision, Dr. Kayser corrects both feminism and hyper-patriarchy, drawing from biblical heroines on how to rise above terrible pasts, abusive husbands, civic chaos, and build the kingdom through hospitality, business, church, tent-pegs, raising mighty children, and more.Get clarity on the essential male-female distinctions (and why they're wonderful) while also clearing away any unbiblical constraints holding you back from serving God to the uttermost.
