The Impactful Leadership Show

Entrepreneurship is not easy, and you should take every chance you can to learn from someone who’s been there and made it. Borzou Azabdaftari is an exciting entrepreneur and the Boss at NickelBronx. Borzou shared when the right point to get started on something new, why you don’t need to know everything to build a great business, and why coasting is not an option.

Takeaways:
There is no perfect time for you to execute your plan. The longer you wait to get into something new, the more competitors will beat you into it and start establishing themselves first.
If you’re waiting to start something until you have 100% of the information, you’ll never get started. Even if you get you’ve gotten to 65% of the information, you’ve waited too long to get started.
As a leader and entrepreneur, you don’t have to have all of the answers. It’s impossible for you to know and run everything. Find the right people and leverage their knowledge.
Your team should obviously know how to perform your core services better than anyone else. However, when things come up that they only need to do once, it’s likely cheaper and more efficient to pay someone else to handle it rather than teaching your team.
Focus on the things that you are good at doing because the little things outside of that take away time and energy that you could be using to make a bigger difference elsewhere.
You’re never going to get a place where everything is fine and will always stay fine. As your business grows, everything changes from your products and services to the kind of customers you serve and what competitors you face.
You need to be tracking KPIs to see where changes are coming and when you need to take action and make changes to your business. You can’t afford to coast because what got you where you are won’t get you where you want to be.
