U-S-A! U-S-A! U-S-A!
You know them. You love them. They're the modern world's most competitive event: The Summer Olympics. On this episode, we discuss what the Summer Olympics mean to us individually, which events we think are shoo-ins for the finals, and which oddball sports are actually the most entertaining to watch (looking at you, track cycling and handball). Tangents include but are not limited to: that time Trent stayed at Kerri Walsh's house in Lake Tahoe, the horrors of weightlifting, and, of course, America's Fifth Sport (and Olympic event hopeful), MTV's The Challenge *ding*.
First round voting will take place Monday 7/19. Sweet Sixteen voting will take place Tuesday 7/20. Elite Eight voting will take place Wednesday 7/21 (hbd Allison and Natalie!). Final Four voting will take place Thursday 7/22. Championship voting will take place Friday 7/23. Results on a new pod on Saturday 7/24!!!!!!
