Zeus With Bruce

The story of Sei Weng, the farmer, has its origins in the ancient Chinese essay collection Huainanzi (淮南子) in the early Han Dynasty, more than 2000 years ago. Like many ancient texts, the story of Sei Weng carries on due to the timeless nature of the message that is shared in the parable. The Parable of the Chinese Farmer is one that simply teaches us that we never truly know the consequences of our actions. All we can do is move forward with positive intent and then proceed in stride with whatever the consequence turns out to be.
