First up — and this one is genuinely exciting if you fly to Europe — Delta One business class to Europe is wide open right now for just 115,000 Delta SkyMiles plus five dollars and sixty cents in taxes. No carrier surcharges. We're talking lie-flat seats to London, Paris, Madrid, Barcelona, Rome, Lisbon, Dublin, Berlin, and more — on peak summer dates through late August. Delta's dynamic pricing usually makes these seats cost close to 500,000 SkyMiles one-way in summer, so 115,000 is extraordinary. You can also transfer American Express Membership Rewards points to Delta at a one-to-one ratio, so if you have Amex points sitting around, now is the time to use them. Don't sleep on this — availability has held for three weeks but it won't last forever.

Speaking of building up those SkyMiles — the Delta American Express card lineup is currently running some of its best-ever welcome offers, and they end on the 15th of July. The Delta SkyMiles Gold American Express Card is offering up to 90,000 bonus miles. The Delta SkyMiles Platinum is offering up to 100,000 bonus miles. The Delta SkyMiles Reserve is offering up to 125,000 bonus miles. And the business versions are equally impressive. Remember, American Express has a once-in-a-lifetime rule on welcome bonuses, so you want to apply when the offers are at their peak — and right now they are. Next — the American Express Business Platinum Card is showing a monster welcome offer of up to 300,000 Membership Rewards points after spending 20,000 dollars in the first three months. The card has an 895 dollar annual fee, but comes loaded with perks: Centurion Lounge access, Delta Sky Club access, Priority Pass membership, up to 600 dollars per year in hotel credits, plus elite status with Hilton and Marriott. One important note: not everyone will be eligible for the full 300,000 point offer — it's variable — so check what's available to you during the application process before any hard pull happens. If you're eligible, this is arguably the best welcome offer on any card right now. Now let's talk Chase. The Chase Trifecta strategy is getting a lot of attention right now thanks to elevated welcome offers. The basic idea: pair a Sapphire card, a Freedom card, and an Ink Business card to maximize Chase Ultimate Rewards points across all your spending categories. The Chase Sapphire Preferred currently has a 100,000 point offer after spending five thousand dollars in the first three months. The Chase Sapphire Reserve for Business is offering 200,000 points after 30,000 dollars in six months. And the Ink Business Preferred is sitting at 100,000 points after 8,000 dollars in three months. Here's a fun one. Citi has announced that starting the 20th of September twenty twenty-six, JetBlue will no longer be a transfer partner for cardholders who receive the 1:0.7 transfer rate — basically anyone on a no-annual-fee Citi card like the Double Cash, Custom Cash, Rewards Plus, or Strata Card. Those cardholders will simply lose JetBlue as an option entirely. If you have one of those cards and want to transfer points to JetBlue, you'll want to do it before the 20th of September. The good news is that cards with the 1:1 transfer rate — like the Citi Strata Premier — appear to be unaffected for now.

Here's something clever that Gary Leff over at View from the Wing pulled off. He needed a chauffeur to meet his family at baggage claim in Austin — kids, bags, no desire to trek through a parking garage to the Uber lot. By stacking GHA Discovery's Blacklane benefit with a Citi credit, his out-of-pocket cost came to exactly zero dollars. If you have GHA Discovery status — which you can earn through various hotel stays or credit cards — check whether your Blacklane benefit is active. Stacking it with the right card credit can mean a free professional pickup. A great reminder to always audit the perks sitting dormant in your wallet.

Alright, how about this for a marketing moment? British Airways and Norwegian Air Shuttle made a bet around the World Cup quarter-final between England and Norway. Whoever's country lost had to change their airline logo on social media to that of the other airline for 24 hours. A Norwegian employee flew to London to shake hands on it. British Airways delivered a note to Oslo on a flight reading 'IT'S COMING HOME.' England won, and Norwegian followed through — swapping their Instagram logo for the British Airways branding. They also launched a flash sale on Norwegian destinations, calling them 'Norwenglish destinations.' Brilliant marketing. Kudos to both airlines for having some fun.

On the loyalty program front — a new study is a bit sobering for brands. Seventy-four percent of loyalty program members quietly quit within two months of joining. And while 83 percent of loyalty program owners believe their members feel valued, only 56 percent of members actually agree. The takeaway for us as points enthusiasts? The brands that retain loyalty are the ones offering real, guaranteed value — not just aspirational status. Which brings us to the hotel elite status conversation. Some hotels — particularly Marriott Bonvoy properties — have started posting signs at check-in showing exactly how many elite members are currently staying. Useful for managing your upgrade expectations? Absolutely. A little tacky? Maybe. But knowing that 150 other guests have the same top-tier status as you helps explain why you're not getting that suite upgrade.

And finally — if you're a Bilt cardholder, earning rewards on your housing payments — whether rent, mortgage, or HOA fees — got a detailed breakdown this week. The key takeaway: most people should be using Bilt Cash to unlock points on housing payments rather than the housing-only rewards system. You need to spend roughly 75 percent of your housing payment amount on your Bilt card to generate enough Bilt Cash to earn one point per dollar on those payments.
