“ESG is the progressive, political agenda packaged for private, publicly traded corporations,” says Jeremy Tedesco, the Senior Vice President of Corporate Engagement for Alliance Defending Freedom. According to Tedesco, ESG initiatives bypass regular political processes and our constitutional structure, which makes them a lot more difficult to hold accountable through legal measures. And, says Tedesco, the goal is not to simply spread things such as DEI throughout America, but actually throughout the entire world.
