Laura Ingalls Wilder was born on February 7, 1867, in Pepin County, Wisconsin. Throughout Laura's childhood, her pioneer parents moved the family seeking a better life in different parts of the country– including Minnesota. She later went on to become the famous and loved author of the “Little House” book series.
