On this episode of Saturday Morning Coffee, we of course examine the incredible events of the week and the FBI's pre-dawn raid and occupation of former President Donald Trump's home in Palm Beach, FL. Our special guests this week include Van Hipp with American Defense International, and EJ Antoni with the Heritage Foundation.
Reese and Glenn begin the show by discussing meteor showers, stargazing, and how Reese almost missed today's show! We discuss several notable deaths that occurred this week, including Olivia Newton John, actor Roger Mosely, and Historian and author David McCullough. Reese and Glenn discuss the FBI raid on the home of former President Donald J. Trump in Palm Beach, Florida point to the weaponization of the DOJ and federal law enforcement agencies, and how we are not confronted with a threat to our liberty that must be dealt with and addressed.
Van Hipp, national security and counter-terrorism expert, joins us on the program to discuss the current inability of our military services to meet their recruitment goals with candidates who are actually qualified to become successful members of our armed forces. Van discusses his recommendations for making military recruiting more effective and more successful in today's world, and the things that we must do to increase or military preparedness in a very dangerous world.
Reese discusses the disingenuous "spin" that the Biden Administration is putting on recent reports of "0% Inflation", as if the President had turned the flailing US economy around, and our disastrous inflation woes are being us. Not true! Not true at all. EJ Antoni from the Heritage Foundation joins us on the program to help us unpack where we really are on the inflation question with out economy, and what the recent economic data numbers actually mean.
