On Saturday, November 19, 200, Hennepin History Museum is sponsoring a special event , Southside Stories, Our North Star Journey; featuring Greg McMoore. McMoore will share the story of his family's North Star Journey from their enslavement on a Virgina plantation to their freedom in Hastings, Minnesota .
