Reading 2 Samuel Chapter 3

First, we get a list of which son's were born to David while he lived in Hebron. Then, we are told how Abner and Ishbosheth fall out over Abner sleeping with one of Saul's concubines. Abner is so incensed by Ishbosheth bringing it up, that he vows to help David gain the kingdom. David accepts Abner's offer, but Joab goes behind David's back to kill Abner in revenge of Asahel's death. Read from the World English Bible.
