He Says, She Says, They Say

Your hosts Azielia and Iqbal decide to find out the obsession around K-Pop with self described K-Pop fanatic, Shafiqah Othman. Having previously been a K-Pop 'hater', Shafiqah was slowly converted when her husband introduced her to her first K-Pop experience before she fully spiraled down the K-Rabbithole. Come with us as we join the blogger/writer/artist on her journey to K-Fanaticism, to understand why so many have apparently made the journey too.

Show Notes

Shafiqah Othman, a writer and artist who publishes on her own website, ShafiqahOthman.com, and on Medium. Shafiqah shares her experience going from avowed hatred of K-Pop, to mild acceptance, when she discovers her husband is a K-Pop fan himself, to full-fledged K-Pop fanaticism when she starts discovering her own passion for the genre which helped us understand why so many other fans have made the same journey, and how K-Pop managed to take over the world.
