Sahirenys is a millennial, Latina mom. She studied financial planning and has a degree in finance. After working in companies like Merrill Lynch, MetLife and Ameriprise Financial, she decided to create her own platform called Poised Finance & Lifestyle to help other women with their finances and especially helping them achieve balance in their financial and personal lives. I was beyond HYPE to meet Sahirenys in person at FinCon in 2019 and maybe it's because we're both Dominicanas in the personal finance space, but we clicked immediately! Most of what Sahirenys teaches her followers comes from her personal experiences because she and her husband paid off almost $100,000 in debt! As a mom of 2 living in southern California, she knows first-hand the difficulties of raising kids while trying to prioritize being debt-free, which is a perspective that I definitely cannot speak to so I am so happy to have her on the show!
