Sanity at the Movies

Sanity at the Movies talks about Star Wars: The Last Jedi.

Show Notes

Rian Johnson might be the best filmmaker to make a Star Wars movie, but The Last Jedi is arguably one of the worst Star Wars movies. Or is it? It's certainly the most divisive. There are heroes on both sides, and Nathan and Jake talk about the best and worst of the best and worst Star Wars in this very special, very long episode of Sanity at the Movies. Yay! Why is Mark Hamil played by a homeless man? Are Poe's quips actually good? Will our heroes be forced to talk about sex politics in Star Wars? Is Rey the love-child of Leia and Holdo? Why is Carrie Fisher so much better in this movie than Force Awakens.

Plus lots of predictions about Rise of Skywalker, which comes out the same day as this podcast. We'll have our hot take episode on that ASAP this weekend.
