Host Tiokasin Ghosthorse begins this week’s broadcast honoring a great friend of “First Voices Radio” — Andre Vltchek.
Andre, who was a regular guest for several years, died suddenly on September 22 in Istanbul, Turkey. Andre was a Russian-born author, documentary filmmaker, philosopher, artist and staunch anti-Imperialist investigative journalist. His enormous outpouring of work included 50 books, many documentary films, and hundreds of articles, radio and TV appearances.
Andre was a true friend who carried our stories and struggles out to the world. We will miss him. https://andrevltchek.weebly.com/
