Man, some things never change. It's been a while since I've taken my kids to the middle school, dropped one of them off or multiple of them off in the morning and this happened to be one of them. It's been a while, like a year or so, a couple years. So what happens is you're supposed to get in the lane that I'm in and then let your kids off wherever so they can get right off safely onto a sidewalk. You're supposed to plan the kids' safety decisions so that happens and you're supposed to limit the ability for them to get all like this person in front of us. You're supposed to limit the ability for them to get out into traffic on the left-hand side, the driver's side of the vehicle. What ends up happening is most people do that. The lane to my left is supposed to be a getting out of the way lane, right? So like once I've released my kid from the car, I'm supposed to move to that lane and proceed to exit. You're not supposed to release kids on that side because drivers are specifically told by the school district, by traffic law, by all these other little things like the kids are not getting out in that lane so you shouldn't have to look for them. You should always be a cautious driver and look for them because you should also realize that the world is run by retarded people, not run by them. Well, yeah, that's run by them too. But the world is encumbered with a large majority of people being retarded. And so because of that, they're all going to release their kids in that outer lane. And it's just as dangerous to release your kids in the outer lane as it is to release your kids right here or maybe once I take a right, if I were to just pull over on the side of the road with no shoulder and just let my kids out on the driver's side, that's the equivalent. So that's what always grinds my gears, that people won't follow the rules. The school sends out diagrams. If your kid's enrolled in a school in our district, you'll get a diagram. Like nine times for every school that your kid is in. I have a kid in pretty much every school in the district, every school, like elementary school, middle school, high school. Every year for like a month before school, the school will release the driving schedule. So what you're supposed to look for, like this is the traffic pattern. These are any of the changes they're highlighted in red. These are how you should be following it. They'll put out video tutorials, they'll have QR codes, you can scan the link and they'll pretty much send them out for like a month in advance and then they're going to not have them out. Then they'll just release it like once a week. They'll see a bunch of parents being idiots, not following the rules and then they'll release them a couple more times. But that's it. That's my rant for this morning gang. We'll see you next time, Life22.
