She has an extensive background as a high school educator, district administrator, consultant, K-12 and Higher Ed faculty, and she currently serves as the Instructional Technology and Professional Learning Specialist and ELL/ESOL Coordinator for Jackson County Schools, in Georgia. She is a Google Certified Innovator and Trainer and has garnered several honors including being named the 2014 Georgia Foreign Language Teacher of the Year and a 2014 ISTE Emerging Leader.
