It is time once again to talk about another Marvel origin story. This time Marvel introduces the master of unarmed Kung Fu, Shang-Chi. Since 2008 we’ve gotten numerous origin stories from Marvel of ranging quality. The biggest critique of the MCU origin films has always been following the same formula and story beats.

So the question we have to tackle today is, does Shang-Chi and the Legend of The Ten Rings follow that formula to a “T” or does it stand on its own while introducing us to Marvel’s newest hero? Listen in to hear our thoughts!
