"Shimon the Righteous was among the last surviving members of the Great Assembly. He would say: The world stands on three things—Torah, the service of God, and deeds of kindness."
Consider this: our world is often a complex and challenging place. Yet, Shimon the Righteous simplifies the essence of a functioning society into three fundamental pillars. First is Torah, representing education and continuous learning, the bedrock of personal growth and collective enlightenment. Next, the service of God, which can be interpreted as spirituality or the pursuit of a purpose greater than ourselves, imbuing our lives with meaning and direction. Finally, deeds of kindness, the social glue that binds communities together through compassion and altruism.
