We had developed a couple other things, but what really, sparked my interest in doing this is that when I mentioned in class for the first time that I was open to using JI GPT, the differences in reactions all across the room were like, I wasn't expecting that. And even we just wrote a paper on Ecclesiastes, and he said for us to put it into the Miller bot and have Miller bot grade it. And he sent out a warning that was like, Miller bot's a little bit more forgiving than I am. So like trying to get it to confuses it. I have crashed many bots trying to teach it theology. They're not getting anything out of it. I don't think I've ever heard that one. He's essentially identified what bullies do in order to take a shortcut to mask their own ignorance, and that is to pay somebody else to make them look good or to get them over or through a hoop, I should say. Some of my professors do let us use it for like, one of my counseling professors, she has an assignment where it's like a licensure assignment where you just have to know a bunch of the different licensing qualifications in different states and for different things. Copy and paste it down. She was like, that's great because I don't want you to have to dig and read through twelve hours of something that you're not gonna need to know for seven different states. You mentioned it. I know a lot you both have mentioned specifically courses that are specific to your major and your interests and not being willing to use it there. But I think that there's still something to be said about being a well rounded person and being adequate on multiple playing fields, I guess. But I think there's an importance on like finding the balance of like, is this cheating or are you actually like learning from this? Knowing these things from these gen eds opens up many more possibilities that you wouldn't have if you didn't know this stuff. Opportunities for conversation with unbelievers. It gives you a common connecting point between people. Like, my PAC professor right now, he literally told us on the first day. He was like, if you put your readings into chat and have it give you a summary, you will fail every quiz. He's like, because I make the quizzes so that it's main ideas. Chat will not pull it out. Its algorithm won't pluck it out as something important. And I think that that's pushed our whole class to be better and makes everybody actually have to put in the work and effort. Like, I've had a class, we write outlines for passages of bible like the bible, and those things can be like 20 pages long. And he gives us bots to work through it.
