Screenplay Resurrection

Filmmaker Raymond De Felitta remembers Kevin Conway, an 'actor's actor', excerpted from Raymond's "Movies 'Til Dawn" podcast.

Show Notes

Kevin Conway (1942-2020)        Director Raymond De Felitta reflects on the work and career of Kevin Conway who plays the titular role in the podcast adaptation of the screenplay, Murdering Michael Malloy. It was Kevin's last recorded performance, and released posthumously. If you’d ever had the opportunity to speak with Kevin, one of the first things you might notice was the unique and deeply resonant vocal quality which emanated from his puckish frame -- a voice made for radio and the theater. Indeed, Kevin was known by his many peers as an “actor’s actor”, and anyone who’d ever had the pleasure of working with him knew the distinguished title was well-deserved. Read this interesting People Magazine article from 1979 and Kevin’s Wikipedia page for some of Kevin Conway's career highlights.
