On this episode, we are joined by Dr. Qin Wang, professor in the Department of Cell, Developmental and Integrative Biology at UAB. Like many children who grew up in China more than three decades ago, Qin dreamed of a career in science. That dream became reality. First getting her PhD at Iowa and then completing her postdoc at Vanderbilt. But, it was here at UAB where her long, hard work really paid off. Now, Chin and her team's research can boast a big breakthrough when it comes to Alzheimer's Disease.
