Welcome back to 14th and G! Today, we are hosting Scott Mulhauser, founding partner of Aperture Strategies to talk about China. Scott has served in senior positions across the globe, most recently as chief of staff at the U.S. Embassy in Beijing where he helped run one of the largest and busiest posts in the world with five consulates, 49 federal agencies and more than 2,000 employees and their families. He represented the U.S. across China, traveling to more than half of China's provinces to lead trade missions and speak on behalf of the U.S. government as he worked with leaders in both countries to advance the U.S.-China relationship. In particular, he worked closely with companies, organizations, media outlets, universities and public officials to help them explore opportunities, manage relationships and respond to crises in China, Asia and across the globe.
