Tonight we open the first in our six part interview series for a selection of the contestants in Gwangju this week for the 2023 Busking World Cup. In hour one, we welcome singer-songwriter out of Angola now based in Houston Vivalda Ndula along with bandmates David Craig and Ilya Janos to rock and playlist reflecting their leading lady's roots and some of the major inspirations for young female vocalists in Africa. Hour two we welcomed German singer-songwriter Lisa Akuah to join us on the mic and drop a few inspirations both past and present, reflecting both the artist's folk and metal sides in the process to give us a wonderful look in.
