I'm a licensed insurance broker right here in Southern Nevada, also licensed for life insurance in California, Louisiana, Texas and Michigan, for auto insurance and homeowners insurance. I'm licensed in 48 states, excluding California and New York, 48 states. So if you Midtown America listen to KU and V 91.5 jazz or more. I can write your home and auto and if you need life insurance in Midtown, USA, no problem. I can get licensed in your state for life insurance. I'm a life insurance agent. Been in the business now for 30 years. Where does the time go? It goes really quick, but with the knowledge that I offer next level knowledge. You know, one of the things I've learned in life, and I'm a senior citizen, if you if you associate yourself with people that's not thinking next level, you know, if you hang around five people, and only thing they're talking about is how hard things are, and doom and gloom, and there's no other way, but it's as bad all the time. You know what you're going to be the sixth person in that same boat with them. If you thinking positive, if you if you read, if you have knowledge, if you learn wisdom, you should learn something every single day. You know, with the power the internet, all this information INSTANT at our fingertips, knowledge is power, and that's why in 2026 you should learn more than ever about everything that you need to know. If you if you're not happy with your current career, find something different. Have a good friend. She's she's going to insurance school now. She was in the casino industry for many, many years, and now things have changed for her, and now she's studying to go into the insurance industry, and it's okay, because knowledge is power, and the fact that you listen to this program every single week, I just want to give a shout out to to a customer that we had really good conversation last week I wrote his home, auto and life insurance. I want to say thank you, Paul, for your business. Good talking to you, just listening to Paul, I learned a lot of wisdom, a lot of knowledge. And just listening to him, we're going back and forth. We go, we go back old Vegas until, you know, we talked, we could talk about the casino industry. And thank you, Paul, you and your wife. Thank you so much. And for your for your support that she he contacted me, wrote his auto insurance policy, and I saved him quite a bit of money. So I'm very happy to please just say we put him with Travelers Insurance Company, which I'm really happy to say that they came back to Nevada. They were gone for about a year and a half. They came back. But I find that travelers auto insurance rates, homeowners rates, are extremely competitive. They're coming back. They came back to Vegas. They're offering a race. Now, if you've been with your insurance carrier for home and auto for at least three years. My contact phone number is 702-236-2624 702-236-2624. 702-236-2624. My Location is on the corner Sahara Rancho in the US bank center, eighth floor. I work by appointment. My business hours are Monday through Friday, from 10am to 5pm and I do a lot over the phone, 702-236-2624, I'm in and out of my office. So that's this is why I do a lot over the phone, home, auto life insurance, boat, motorcycle, insurance over the telephone. I make it very easy, very convenient. But in 2026 you know, I hear people talking about everything is, it is very expensive. It is. I couldn't believe I was in a grocery store. Now it's a little convenient store right around the corner. From my house a box of Wheaties. I couldn't believe it was almost $9 a box of Wheaties was almost $9 it blew me away. I couldn't believe I don't buy cereal. I haven't bought cereal on a long time, but when I do, I try to get the brand, you know, the brand flakes, you know, the healthy stuff. But I just saw him, see a box of Cheerios. And I'm like, you know, and the Wheaties right next to it. I'm like, I couldn't believe the price of this, these cereals, you know, is, it's just mind boggling what everything cost. But if you're not happy in your current position, what you're doing right now, maybe it's time to do it. Make a change, find something that makes you happy, because you need peace of a mind. Peace of mind when you go to work every single day and you're miserable and you're not happy in your current career, the insurance industry is wide open, and we're going to be here for a very, very long time. I mean, it's almost inflation proof when you know when the market is up and down, you still have to pay your car insurance. Right? When things go up and down and in the stock market, you know you still have to pay your insurance bill, your homeowners insurance, your renters insurance, your life insurance, your car insurance is still you still have to make those payments. So to me, insurance is almost inflation proof. I've been in the business now for 30 years. I started with Allstate Insurance company back in the early late 90s. I said, late, yeah, mid late 90s. Went to school in 96 that's why I'm 30 years knock on wood. Went to school in 96 for insurance, started my career in this business. And I get up every single day. Love talking to you. Love talking to my listeners that contact me from KU NV, 91.5 jazz and more, and we go over their insurance. I absolutely love my career. You know, I'm a senior citizen. I don't mind saying that, because I'm very healthy, healthy, and I take care of myself. I try to eat right. But every now and then, you know, get the, get those cravings for certain foods, but I try to stay away from, you know, shower, away from too much, not too much alcohol, you know, kind of curve down on that, maybe one day a week, on the alcohol. And I'm going now every once, every two weeks, but I'm just trying to be a little bit more disciplined. You know, the older I get. You know, the body's not the same. Need to get out and walk a little bit more, and I encourage you to do the same. This is knowledge. Knowledge is power. Get out and take a walk. Our weather is beautiful here in Vegas, a little windy last week, but, you know, let's get out and take a walk around our neighborhood. Maybe go take a walk in the park. Take the dog out and take a walk in the park. Let's get healthy. And 2026 let's network with the people that's going to be positive thinkers, you know, let's turn off the news. Let's just turn off the news. Is just too much going on right now, and it feeds your subconscious mind with all the negativity that's happening, there's a lot of ugly things just going on, but you know, we could fill our subconscious with positive information so we can move forward in life. Because you know, feeding your your subconscious, your mind, with negative information every single day makes you a negative person, and so it's difficult to move forward, moving forward, making sure your finances is in order, making sure you're doing the right thing for your family in the future, your family's future is very important. Again, I'm gonna say this. This is next level knowledge. If you hang around five poor people, you could be the sixth poor person, whining and complaining, because you surround yourself with the wrong people. Sometimes you need to disconnect from those people with all the problems and the negativity and start thinking positive. You know, you know, people I sometimes people call me up and I'm gonna say this, you know, they get a life insurance policy, right? They get a life insurance policy, and the first thing they do is, you know, they're excited about the life insurance policy, and they start talking to negative people about purchasing a life insurance policy. They said, You know, I just gotta, I would just receive a life insurance policy from Don Marquez. He was great. He went over everything. He was very knowledgeable, line by line. He told me exactly, you know what the policy is, my payment every month. And if you talk to a negative person about something positive you just did for your family. The first thing they'll say to you is, well, you don't need a life insurance policy. You can do this, you can do that, you can do this, you can do that. And see negative people try to bring, you know, bring your thunder down because they haven't done anything. Right? You know, they haven't done anything. They'd rather just sit back and let life just deal them any kind of hand they want to, because this sharing good information with the right people is a great thing. I'm just saying. But sometimes when you when you on your glory, and then all of a sudden, you try to share your glory with someone that's negative, right? It's just not what. Received. This is why, when you get a life insurance policy, pass it on to someone that's a positive thinker, 702-236-2624, Donald Marquez 10:10 as a referral. And that you know, and life goes on, but disconnect yourself away from negative people. Negative people will drag you down and you won't accomplish anything, because if you hang around five negative people, you'll be the sixth one, the negative person. I'm a positive thinker. I love to talk to people. I'm a great talker. I like to experience everybody's situation is different. When they come to my office or we speak on the phone about their insurance concerns, everyone is different. So whatever your neighbor is paying for insurance or whatever, whatever is, whatever your family member is paying for insurance, has absolutely nothing to do with you. I take every individual one by one. I have life insurance policies that up to $50,000 of coverage, and there's absolutely no physical now. I do have policies, term policies. Now, of course, there's no physical up to $450,000 let me say that again. And now I have a term life insurance product up to $450,000 there's no physical Now, depending on the age, there's a lot of moving parts with that up to 450,000 no physical. Again, the details at 702-236-2624, or you can email me. My email address is donald.marquez@outlook.com now this is Sunday morning, and sometimes I will accept calls on Sunday. I like to be off on Sunday. We don't, you know, I watch basketball now. Football is gone. I'll kind of watch basketball a little bit, but I like to relax on the Sunday because I work sometimes five, six days a week, at times, taking care of your insurance needs, which I don't mind doing. I love doing what I do a lot of times. Most of my most of my work is over the phone. People find it convenient to contact me over the phone and to take care of their insurance needs. It's very convenient. And again, my business hours are Monday through Friday, from 10am to 5pm and if you have a relative or family member that needs life insurance, because maybe they're just out there, you know, in the streets, not taking care of themselves, and you could be the responsible person that has to take care of their final expenses. What is final expenses? Final expenses is when a person passes and there are bills to pay, they're always going to be a close out of one estate. You can't get around it. That's impossible to get around. You know why? Because funerals cost money, right? Nobody dies free. No one. Now, people say, Well, you know, I just have a cremation. Or I've heard this one before, too. I'll just donate my body to science. A lady, you know, I had a few customers come in, and I don't know why I even came in. They came in and to tell me, Well, you know, I heard you on the radio over at 91.5 jazz and more. And I want some auto insurance. So we write the auto insurance. We start talking about the life insurance. And they said, Well, you know, I'm donate my my remains to science. And, you know, reality check, we have a lot of homeless people that's out there with, you know, John does, and John, you know, it's, it's a lot of remains out there from the homeless. You know, science have all they need. Research have all they need. They don't need your your remains, because the homeless population provides them plenty of cadavers to to do their research. I just want to say that so don't think this is a way out of you know, because your family members may or may or may not be aware of this is what you want to do. But you know, you think I say, hey, we want to donate my dad to science. Thanks, but no thanks. We have plenty. We don't need your dad to set up yourself to pay for your final expenses. And again, final expenses, the first expense is paying for a funeral. What if you have car payments with car insurance? What if you have a mortgage, or if you even if you have rent, that rent may have been paid for an additional month, or the furniture out of the house has to be moved out. Or if there's a home and you want to keep the home, you know, because there's a spouse left behind or children left behind, you want to make sure you take care of your final expenses, because if you have a home, and your idea is to pass your home to your children, especially if you're a single person, and you have a house or a condo, or you own it, right? Or you making mortgage payments on it, you want to be able to pass it to the next generation, then you need to have a will or trust set up, or you need to put someone on your deed. Now I'm not only an attorney. I do work with Christine Bernard. She's a paralegal. She can help you with that transaction, putting someone on the deed of your home. So when that day comes, and it comes, for all of us, it could avoid probate court, and that's all I'm saying. I like to use the word could, because you could have family members want to dispute whatever. You know it happens when a person passes and your business is not in order, because you know you're kicking the can. Kick in the can every single year. It's 2026, it's stop kicking the can. You're in your you're in your late 50s, 60s and your 70s, and you don't want to talk about life insurance. You don't want to tell your family members who's the beneficiary. Why not? Why not? They need to know this information. Knowledge is power. Now. Knowledge is comforting to know exactly you know what to do when that day comes for you. I want you to be around for a very long time, and I've experienced losing loved ones, and, you know, and we've and everything was in order. And I experienced over my 30 years the many stories I could say on this air I don't have, I don't have that much time. This is only a 30 minute talk show, and I'm gonna tell you something some of the stories I've heard from people over the many years with no life insurance or, you know, this is, this is a really good one that sticks to me. Sometimes this gentleman had a life insurance policy. He got divorced. He was only married for about a year and a half, right? He got divorced after a year and a half, he put his wife on the life insurance policy. And it was a significant life insurance policy. Got remarried, had a few children from his second wife. He never took his first wife off the life insurance policy. He passed, right? He passed and his in, his in his wife, his current wife, contacted me and asked me, you know what? What to do? Because she heard this program on 91.5 Of course, she didn't buy, he didn't buy the policy for me, you know, but this is these are some of the stories that I get, and some of them are good stories, but some of them are very conflicting stories. But the first wife received all the money because only thing he needed to do was fill out a change of beneficiary form and put his current wife on the life insurance policy. But for whatever reason, kicking the can and not taking care of your final expense business. This is what happens. This What's that this happens? You know, this could happen to you, or if you lost a loved one, right? And your spouse was your primary beneficiary on your life insurance policy, you know, and you don't change that beneficial beneficiary because your spouse passed your your policy could go into probate. It just takes a phone call to pick it up. A phone call, I offered no obligation reviews. You bring your insurance policies in or email them to me, and I'll go over your policies with you to see where you are. You What's your life insurance policy? I encourage you to get an insurance review now auto insurance people like, oh, you know, I pay too much for auto insurance. I pay too much for auto insurance, too in Southern Nevada, it is what it is. I received a phone call the other day. I just got it. These are the stories I get. I'm sharing these stories with you. Young lady called me up. She says, you know, I just received something in the mail, and she lives in Southern Nevada. By the way, I received this information in the mail. Car insurance in the state of Nevada, between 40 and $50 a month. Is that accurate? No, it's not. Now, when you receive these mailers in your mailbox and you go to them, between 40 and $50 a month, you know how we drive in Vegas, the cars we drive in Vegas, SUVs, nice luxury cars, mid sized cars, you know? And you're talking about between 40 and $50 per month, or average, around 40 $50 a month for car insurance in Southern Nevada. That's a nationwide advertisement. Let me say this right now that is a nationwide advertisement between 40 and $50 a month that just generates a phone call. Now what they're talking about is somewhere in the small, little Midtown, somewhere in the United States, little bitty town like Mayberry, okay? Donald Marquez 19:25 And some of you can, some of you can relate to Mayberry. We're talking about little bitty nothing town, Mayberry, in the middle of nowhere. Yes, you probably can get insurance between, you know, 40 and 50 or $60 a month. And when these little bitty, small towns, but you were talking about a compact car, and nothing like these big four wheel drive SUVs that most of us drive around here in Southern Nevada. Also, when you when you look at these commercials on television and they talk about your life insurance is a little you know, less than $10 a month. You have seen that commercial. We've all seen that commercial. Now. What is my. Rate. I'm 77 years old, and less than nine, less than $10 a month. You know which one we're talking about, right? Right? And there, and there are lots of them. But the problem is this, at 70 plus years old, talking about a life insurance policy less less than $10 a month, you're talking about less than $1,000 worth of coverage. To be honest, I had a gentleman call me 72 years young, right? Can you get, can you offer that policy? They advertise on television, and it's like, well, I you know, nine and some change every single month, right? I said, How much in life insurance at 72 you think you can get for less than $10 a month? He said, I don't know, seven by 25,000, I say, are you serious now? So I ran the numbers for him. I said, let me show you what you get for that amount. It was less than $750 of coverage. He's like, Well, that don't pay for anything, I said, but it generates a phone call, and that's what they want you to do. I don't pull any gimmicks. I just tell it a straight is okay. The rates are based on your age. I can write a policy up to 85 years young because the rates are based on your current age, not you know. So sometimes seniors call me, and I know, for whatever reason they want to be older, you know, we go off of your current age. We go off your age, your the medications you're taking. And a lot of times, too, there's no physical required, no physical exam required, just a few health questions, and I can write a policy over the phone less than 30 minutes, quick answers, yes, no. You know, even if you have diabetes, lupus, right, a history of cancer, let's talk. Let's talk. Don't think you're out of you can't get life insurance. I'm the expert. 30 years in this business, I can make let me find a company that will fit your needs for life insurance. This is when this day comes for you. Then your family members will have the peace of mind that they're going to need to take care of your final expenses and stop saying if something happens to me. I don't know who came up with that. If something happens to me, well, it's gonna happen. It would be great if I knew, if we all knew when that day was gonna come for all of us. That's the one of the biggest mysteries on planet Earth. We never know when our time is up. And every year we talk about and as we age, and I'm telling you, as I age, I see not only entertainers that are passing, but you know people that I know that are passing. You know, people like, oh, you know, get a call. You know, so and so bad. I'm like, We were classmates back in the day. Or, you know, I knew him in the neighborhood, or I knew her in the neighborhood. Every year there, there's, there's at least five to 10 to 20 people that you know or may not know, I went to school with you, that that you know, that's no longer with us. And it's frequent happens every single year. We're gonna have a new batch this year in 2026 it could be any one of us. So stop saying if something happens to me, I want to make sure, because it will happen. If you need a larger life insurance policy, I have larger policies start at $100,000 and up. I'll find a policy that will fit in your budget. You select the monthly due date. You can select the 28th first to the 28th of each month. Like so a lot of you like to select the 15th of each month. That's okay. I'll make a withdrawal out of your account every every month. I don't I connect you with the insurance companies. I do not accept any money across my desk. You pay the insurance companies direct through your checking account for auto insurance, for your homeowner's insurance policy, if you have a mortgage, I'll build your escrow account automatic. It's real simple, real easy. Then you get the home and auto discount. I'm really excited about travelers, insurance company, auto insurance carrier, their rates are pretty decent. So far, you know, when I'm seeing people contact me, I give them a, you know, and it's not always 100% but you know, so far so good. And I just got them about a month ago. They came back to Vegas, so I'm really excited about travels. Auto insurance carrier. I'm a licensed insurance agent for them. I represent 60 life insurance companies. Yeah, I can find a policy for you. And don't, don't give up if you have a history of underlying health conditions, lupus, cancer, diabetes. You know you have insulin or a Metformin you're taken for the diabetes. You know you're on dialysis. Listen, if you're on dialysis or No, I have a loved one that's on dialysis, I can get them a life insurance policy. 702-236-2624, 702, 702-236-2624, up to $50,000 in life insurance coverage on a final expense life insurance policy bills, cash value. You know, we can also add a child rider on your policy, the child right, as long as they're 17 years or younger. We can. Add them on your life insurance policy with no exam for you or the child rider, and they'll spin off on their own policy when they turn 25 years young. Accidental death benefit rider is included. This is not accidental death and I know you seniors receive accidental death offers all the time in the mail from your motor clubs, from your credit unions, do not buy accidental only policies don't do that. You're talking about. Well, I'm gonna pass from an accident. It does not pay for natural causes. So if you have a heart condition, and you die from a heart condition, that accidental only life insurance policy does not pay your beneficiaries. Okay, so let's get a real life insurance policy, something that's real, that'll fit in your budget every single month. If this is no good, you know, I can give you numbers all day long and a lot of times too, when I'm talking to my clients, depending on how the conversation goes, I'll ask you, how much can you afford a month? Let's work with your budget for life insurance, let's work with let's be realistic about it, because those commercials you see on television for 999 a month for life insurance is just something that's gonna make put it, make you pick up the phone, call them, and the real numbers will come out. Hey, this is the real numbers, and it may not be the best policy for you, because there could be a two year wait period where you could get insured day one. My name is Dave Marquez. This is your insurance connection. 702-236-2624, 702-236-2624, licensed insurance agent in my beautiful hometown, Las Vegas, Nevada, and we're growing like I've never seen before in my life. And remember, this is a dust bowl. Look at it. Today. We have over 3 million people living here in Las Vegas, and I want to sell insurance to every single one of you, every one of you that listen to KU nv 91.5 thank you for your continued support listening to this program. I've been here for almost four years. Thank you for the amazing opportunity right here at KU NV. My engineer West, he's the best my man, Dr Ridley, for calling me and offering me this amazing opportunity to talk to you about your insurance needs. I'm a licensed insurance agent for 30 years offering homeowners, auto insurance, renters insurance, boat motorcycle insurance, yes, yes, yes. And life insurance. What? What? One of these life insurance companies that I work with, they have the quit smoking advantage. So if you are a smoker, for the first four years, you'll be rated as a non smoker. You have up to 12 months to stop within 48 months to stop smoking, to quit smoking completely, and you receive, from the beginning of the policy for the first 48 months, a non smokers rate. If you're currently a smoker and you say to yourself, I can't afford a life insurance because I'm a smoker. And they do charge more for smokers. You're right. They do charge more for smokers, but this is a program quit smoking advantage, where day one you you're rated as a non smoker, as a non smoker, and now once you the 48 months is up, you'll get a saliva test to see if, in fact, you're still smoking tobacco. You have to be tobacco free for 12 months for more information. 70223626247022362624 Donald Marquez 28:33 go out, take a walk. You take the dog out. You and the wife go out, or your partner go out and take a walk. Get some fresh air. We'll do this again next week. Everyone stay safe until then, just keep it crispy. You.
