Tensions boil over in the chamber with discussion about former mayor Paul Pisasale taking centre stage during the June 30 ordinary meeting of Ipswich City Council. There was a spectacular backflip on renaming Paul Pisasale Bridge and Pisasale Drive. In a separate meeting council announced details of its 2022-2023 budget with an increase in rates. Mayor Teresa Harding joins the show to discuss the budget and what happened in the chamber with a split vote five to four in favour of reinstating the Pisasale name on a bridge and road.
