सिद्धिः चिन्तनानुरिणी

काचन लोकोक्तिः श्रूयते -’सिद्धिः सदा अस्माकं चिन्तनम् अवलम्बते' इति । कदाचित् अनावृष्ट्या सरोवरस्थानां जलचराणां मरणम् आरब्धम् । तत्रत्याः भीताः त्रयः मण्डूकाः अन्यत् जलस्थानम् अन्विष्यतः अग्रे अचलन् । किन्तु तैः कुत्रापि जलस्रोतः न प्राप्तम् । अग्रे कश्चन कूपः दृष्टः । प्रथमः वदति अत्र अवतरामः इति । द्वितीयः वदति अन्धकारकारणतः कूपे जलम् अस्ति वा न वा इति न ज्ञायते इति । अतः पूर्वतनं सरोवरं प्रति गच्छामः इति । किन्तु तृतीयः वदति अस्मासु चलितुम् इतोऽपि शक्तिः अस्ति खलु? अग्रे महत् जलस्रोतः एव प्राप्येत इति । ततः चलद्भिः तैः अनतिदूरे एव सुविशाला पुष्करिणी प्राप्ता ।

A saying goes: “Success always depends on our thinking.” Once, due to drought, aquatic life in a lake began to perish. Three frightened frogs set out in search of another water source. After a long search, they found a well. The first frog said, “Let’s jump in.” The second hesitated, saying, “It’s dark. We don’t know if there’s water inside. Let’s return to the old lake.” The third said, “We still have strength to move ahead. Surely, a better water source lies ahead.”Trusting their belief, they continued onward and soon discovered a vast, beautiful pond.

What is बालमोदिनी?

सम्भाषणसन्देशः इति संस्कृतमासिकपत्रिका (https://sambhashanasandesha.in) । एतस्यां पत्रिकायां प्रकाशिताः लेखाः, कथाः, बालकथाः, वार्ताः इत्यादिकं सर्वम् अपि सरलसंस्कृतेन एव प्रकाश्यते । तत्रत्याः “बालमोदिनी”नामिकाः बालकथाः अत्र प्रसार्यन्ते । अतः अस्याः शृङ्खलायाः नाम अपि “बालमोदिनी” एव । लघु गात्रं, सरला भाषा च कथानां विशेषः । प्रत्येकं कथा काञ्चित् नीतिं बोधयति । बालकथाः आबालवृद्धं सर्वेषां प्रियाः । संस्कृतेन ताः श्रोतुम् उपलब्धाः भवन्तु इति एषः प्रयत्नः श्रोतृभ्यः अवश्यं रोचेत इति विश्वासः । संस्कृतक्षेत्रे संस्कृतेन पॉड्कास्ट् क्रियमाणाः एताः प्रप्रथमाः कथाः इति सगौरवम् उद्घोष्यते ।
