Our guests this month, Judi Keith-Brown, a registered architect and president of NZIA, and Perry Barber, a Registered Master Builder, have cultivated a successful working relationship that has spanned more than a decade. They share many stories and experiences about how working together helps their renovations and new builds tick along smoothly, and keep their clients happy from the get go.

A positive working relationship between an architect and builder is critical for a project to run smoothly. Through effective collaboration, disagreements between onsite workers and clients are minimised, deadlines are met and the end product is executed to perfection. Everyone has gaps in their knowledge, which is why leveraging the knowledge and experience of architects and builders not only gives clients better outcomes, but helps everyone in the long run.
