Welcome to our Wyoming Sovereign Round Up Podcast Series detailing every amazing talk that happened live in Wyoming This summer. Our first panel was a master class concerning current Bitcoin Legislation in 2024, the state of bitcoin in the United States and the current legislative struggles/strides being taken across the nation to further freedom of money.
This first talk includes speakers Will Cole from Zaprite - whose mission is to help people pay in bitcoin seamlessly for goods and services with businesses.
In addition this panel had Wyoming State Representative, Tyler Lindholm, both of these gentleman were apart of the “Wyoming Blockchain Task Force.” Wyoming has a Select Committee on Blockchain, Financial Technology, and Digital Innovation Technology. As of March 2024, Wyoming has passed around 30 crypto-friendly laws since 2019, including a cryptocurrency bankruptcy law that protects customers who provide their assets to Wyoming trust companies. The state is also trying to attract businesses interested in blockchain, the technology that underpins cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin.
