It seems to be a more and more common story. Leaders fall. Moral failures, criminal charges, pride, heresy. Whatever the reason, it still hurts the body of Christ when a leader falls. The world is watching and ready to pounce on the church. So, how do we handle the situation? Whether it's a prominent leader, or a local leader, the effect can be just as severe.
Christianity is messy. Ministry is messy. Life is messy. It's messy because we live in a fallen world full of fallen people. However, God has used the messiness (is that a word?) of people throughout history. He takes our brokenness and insecurities, and uses them for His purposes and glory.
