BRIAN LOWERY, PhD, is the Walter Kenneth Kilpatrick Professor of Organizational Behavior at Stanford University’s Graduate School of Business. He also hosts the podcast Know What You See. His latest book is Selfless: The Social Creation of “You” (2023)
