CHEYENNE’S APPLIED ARTWORK IS STRONGLY INFLUENCED BY HER BACKGROUND AS A FORMER FOSTER YOUTH, EMOTION, COLOR, AND DESIGN PRINCIPLES. HER FINE ARTWORK RESONATES MORE WITH HER PERSONAL INNER TURMOIL AS A FORMER FOSTER YOUTH. SHE SEEKS TO BRING TO LIGHT AND MAKE AN EMPATHETIC CONNECTION WITH THE GENERAL PUBLIC ABOUT THE GROWING STRUGGLE OF OVER 500,000 YOUTH IN AMERICA THROUGH HER FINE ARTWORK. HER FREQUENT VOLUNTEER WORK FOR A NON-PROFIT THAT SPECIALIZES IN HELPING FOSTER YOUTH LETS HER TEACH OTHER YOUTH ABOUT USING ART AS A FORM OF HEALING AND EXPRESSION OF THEIR TRAUMA.
