Sermons from Church of the Incarnation, Dallas

What is the Church of the Incarnation?

In his final sermon at Incarnation, Rev. Cody Turner reflects on the surprising people Jesus chose to surround Himself with: tax collectors, sinners, doubters, the desperate, and those longing for healing.

Drawing from Matthew 9, Fr. Cody reminds us that the Church is not a gathering place for the self-sufficient, but a refuge for those who know their need for God's grace. It is a place where broken people find belonging, forgiveness, healing, and hope through Jesus Christ.

As Jesus says, "Those who are well have no need of a physician, but those who are sick."

No matter our past, our failures, our doubts, or our wounds, Christ continues to call us to Himself with open arms and a nail-pierced hand.
